Today is our first real day here in Paradise! We were up around 5:30am because of the time difference. It was nice to get a good head start to the day. Around 7:45 we headed out for the nearby beach. The 8 am conditions were ideal for Aubrey's introductory beach trip. She was wary of the water and never ended up getting comfortable with it. Oh well, I suppose the safe thing to do is have your guard up. She ended up settling into the sand to dig around and fill up her buckets. It's quite funny to see Aubrey's reaction to sand on her hands. She absolutely hates getting her hands dirty! She had quite the rude awakening! Brandon and I drove all around this afternoon and found a great place for snorkeling. I think in a few days we'll end up sneaking off without Aubs and checking it out from inside the lava rock cove rather than on the shore. Anyway, it's 12:45 and we have a whole day left ahead of us! Thats awesome! What town are you staying in? We are going to stay in kaluia when we go. Oh, and how was Aubrey on the plane ride? I've decided to take Gavin, so I'm a little worried about that...
